I have had it with the Apple vs. Android argument! All the jackasses of the internet want to tell one company or another how to run their multi-billion dollar establishment. My advice is "shut the hell up!". You want your Google Nexus™ device, you'll be able to get it. The issue at hand is that iOS came first, that's all that matters people the OS! That's what started litigation, and that's what will end it. Steve Jobs felt that Android was stolen from his hands that's why he fought, and hence why Apple continues to follow suit. I personally do not care who stole what, from where, and why. But I do not "OWN" the company that feels victim. Ask yourself this question, if you made a yellow tennis ball for a customer who wanted to buy it. Shortly afterwards an acquaintance of yours made a green tennis ball marked as "their design" and sold it to your customer. Would you feel like that was OK? The answer is no, and you would have something to say about it.

To say that Google came up with Android on their own would be an ignorant statement. Eric Schmidt sat on Apple's board of directors during iOS's incarnation. Steve Jobs was their mentor, offered them advice, and the ability to learn from a seasoned individual who had this thing "figured out". Schmidt left the board in 2009 following this statement - "Schmidt will step down because of "potential conflicts of interest". That's fairly self explanatory I feel. And if you take it a step further and look into all of the other lawsuits that have been won against Google? Microsoft has won multiple suits against the mobile OS, Microsoft has also stated openly in the past that it makes more profit from Android than WP7. The point is, if they're stealing they need to be held accountable for their actions. To say that Apple needs to stop pressing for justice is like asking to live in a dictated country. If the judicial system finds provable merit within these lawsuits then that's how it is. If they find Apple to be wrong, then so be it.

The moral of the story is, if you prefer Android you are welcome to your opinion. Just like the rest of the world with an opportunity to make such a choice. Coming to an internet based blogging system to rant about a technology that you don't own, nor do you fully understand is preposterous. Apple's goal is to crush Google, and they will continue to pursue them to the end. If you don't get that, then you are wasting everyone's time. If blame should be placed on a party for your inability to purchase something that is legally "tied up"? The blame should be placed on the company who infringed on intellectual property. I never hear "hey Samsung, why did you make a device that appears as this, or hey Google, why does your OS do this just like that?". The horse's mouth is where your complaints need be directed. And real quick (just to rule out the possible banter of stupidity). I can personally agree that for the most part, android devices do not appear as Apple's. However, if a patent is placed for a shape and design based on a physical device where words provide evidence to a device's shape? Well... you pretty much had that coming, if it's close "it's the same" as far as the law is concerned. As large a company as they both are, I would expect them to cover ALL of their bases before releasing something that may cost them millions more than just manufacturing.

The unfortunate fact is, this is what the world has become. A land of "tattle-tellers". You all know it, it happens every day. Adapt or get left behind it isn't going to change. If you want to make something, make it your own. Why would any one want an experience that is "kinda like" that one over there? All that this means is that total innovation is beginning to slip behind. That is the raw truth that gets missed when we argue about the new Samsung device that you cannot purchase because it has infringed on other US companies properties. The phone "in all it's glory" is available now Here, If you're into that sort of thing. I for one am not, I prefer my experience and will continue to purchase an iPhone each year. I prefer the freedom of choice, and refuse to try to change anyone's mind. These companies will do what they do, your life will continue. So get off it, update your status, and shut the hell up!
